Is it just me or was Christmas less exciting this year? I had a hard time getting into it, hence the last minute shopping and the no gift exchange with the Hubs. (That went both ways.) It just never really “felt” like Christmas either. I mean, we went through all the motions, Christmas Eve with Chris’ family & Christmas Day with mine but I never “felt” it. I just have too much other stuff...
I can’t even believe its Christmas. We did all out shopping & wrapping in the last four days which is a first for me. I think I’ve got “baby brain” too bad. It’s hard to focus on other stuff!
Today I get to hang with my cutie patootie nephew, watch the Seahawks (win) and have dinner & games with Chris’ side of the family then tomorrow it’s off...
Feeling the baby move makes this crazy journey a lot more REAL. 5 months til due date.
Game night.
It’s about to officially be winter which makes for perfect dinner/game night season with the buds. After a busy summer and a late baby, the group is ready to reconvene and continue on with tradition.
Tomorrow night it’s beef stew, salad, bread and whatever dessert happens to show up. It’s the perfect way to hibernate but keep up with your friends and eat a yummy dinner...
